Rocking Chair
A Poem of Remembrance
Feb 14, 2021
She rests near bay window
enjoying
a long afternoon quilting
in retirement bound winter.
Her eyes, brown
like dark chestnuts,
sparkle warmth
when she sees me,
her grandson.
She rests near bay window
enjoying
a long afternoon quilting
in retirement bound winter.
Her eyes, brown
like dark chestnuts,
sparkle warmth
when she sees me,
her grandson.
